Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Photo The Biddeford Free Clinic has many volunteers that provide primary care and services to hundreds in need. Volunteer contributions translate into thousands of dollars worth of free medical services, medications, and counseling to those who cannot afford health insurance.

While it is true that we provide all these services to our patients; our volunteers mean so much more to us. Most of our volunteers also work full-time jobs during the day and then give of their time 2 nights per week.

It’s the dedication, commitment and willingness to help others that’s kept the Biddeford Free Clinic serving the community for 17 years. Without the services of the physicians, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, pharmacy technicians, administrative staff and UNECOM MSII students providing excellent medical care to our patients would be hard to accomplish.

Some of our volunteers are our patients as well, who feel that it is important to give back and help their fellow neighbors.

The Biddeford Free Clinic also serves as a training facility where University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine medical students enhance their clinical skills and experience the free approach to providing health care.

The Biddeford Free Clinic is truly a place where -Neighbors Help Neighbors.
